庭と駐車場

道路側に開けた南側を駐車場、奥まった北側に庭を設け、敷地を斜めに分けるように住宅を配置した。室内から庭を眺める際に隣家の庭が借景になるよう、周辺の風景との調和についても考慮した。

Garden and parking lot

The house is placed in such a way as to divide the site diagonally, with a parking lot on the south side open to the road and a garden on the north side at the back of the house. The harmony with the surrounding landscape was also taken into consideration so that the garden of neighboring house would be used as a borrowed landscape when looking at the garden from inside the house.

奥へと行くクランク

軒の陰影や外観のリズムを意識しつつ、それぞれの部屋に合った日が入るよう、窓の高さを工夫しながらクランク状の平面を計画した。また、奥へ行くほどプライベート性が上がる間取りになっており、一段下がったリビングを落ち着きのある場所とした。

Crank toward the back

While considering the shading of the eave and the rhythm of the shape of the exterior, a cranked plan was planed with the height of the windows so that each room would receive the appropriate amount of daylight. In addition, the floor plan is designed to become more private the further back one goes, making the living room, which is one step lower, a place of serenity.

切妻屋根と柱

棟のラインが敷地の対角線上を走るように、シンプルな切妻の屋根を選んだ。リビングルームとダイニングルームの間に立てられた柱は視界に鉛直方向のラインを生み出し、ひと続きの空間を分け、引き締めている。

Gable roof and a pillar

A simple gable roof was chosen so that the line of building runs diagonally across the site. The pillar between the living room and the dining room creates a vertical line of sight, dividing and tightening the contiguous space.
