日々の食卓で使われてきた器は、料理とともに、人の時間や記憶を受け止めてきました。割れてしまったその器を、金継ぎの技術で、蓄光する彩りの漆によってつなぎ直します。食卓を囲んだ思い出は、光を蓄える線となって器に残り、昼の光、夜のあかりを受けながら、食器棚の中で星のように瞬きます。失われた役割は、やがて「照らす存在」へと姿を変え、日常の食卓に、静かな光をもたらします。

The vessels used at the daily dining table have long held not only food, but also the time and memories of those who gathered around them. When such a vessel is broken, it is reconnected through the technique of kintsugi, using colored lacquer that stores and emits light. The memories shared at the table remain as luminous lines within the vessel. Absorbing daylight and the glow of evening lamps, they softly flicker like stars inside a cupboard. What once lost its function gradually transforms into a presence that gives light, bringing a quiet glow back to the everyday dining space.
