この「大関（おおぜき）」という町は、これまで地域福祉を育んできた場所である。

福井県坂井市の田園が広がる住宅地に位置し、事業主はこれまで4軒の障がい者福祉事業所を運営し、町民に親しまれてきた。本計画では、地域において需給が逼迫している児童とその家族を支える機能を強化するとともに、ショートステイや防災拠点としての機能を充実させることで、これまで以上に地域福祉が根づき、これからの時代を見据えた社会を築いていきたいと考えている。

福井は多雪地域である。普段は穏やかな天候が続く一方、冬の厳しい時期には驚くほどの雪が積もる。そのような日常を生きる地域の人々にとって、丈夫な屋根は大きな安心感の象徴となっている。本計画では、その「屋根の安心感」を手がかりに、地域に点在する福祉施設をゆるやかにつなぎ、明るく開かれた地域福祉のあり方を築いていきたい。障がいを抱える児童とその家族、地域住民、そして職員が協力し合い、安心して関われる地域福祉の未来を、ともに目指す計画である。

The town of Ozeki has long fostered a culture of community-based welfare.

Located in a residential area surrounded by farmland in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, the project operator has been running four welfare facilities for people with disabilities, becoming a familiar presence for local residents. Through this proposal, the project aims to strengthen support for children and families facing increasing demand within the community, while enhancing functions such as short stays and disaster response facilities. By doing so, it seeks to further root welfare services in the local area and contribute to building a society prepared for the future.

Fukui is a region known for heavy snowfall. While daily weather conditions are generally calm, winter can bring unexpectedly severe snow accumulation. For people living in such conditions, a strong and reliable roof represents a profound sense of security. Taking this sense of protection as a starting point, the project envisions connecting welfare facilities scattered throughout the area and creating an open, bright model of community welfare.
